With Summer upon on us and school letting out real soon, we as a church wanted to provide mulitple avenues and events that youth and parents could take advantage of this summer.

We will be returing to the Brunswick Zone this summer for our second Bowling Night. The night will include bowling, food & fellowship. The cost will be around $5/person. Stay tuned for official date.

Pastor Laudir Lugo will be our guest speaker during our Worship Service on Sunday, June 19th. Pastor Lugo was one of the Youth Speakers at the 11th SFCNA National Conference we hosted in Chicago. He is currently in the process of planting Northside Church in Chicago. For more info. visit

Our June Youth Meeting (June 25)will take place in downtown Chicago at the Pacific Garden Mission. Since 1877, Pacific Garden Mission has been a refuge. Millions weary of struggling through life’s storms, have come to the “Old Lighthouse” seeking food, shelter, clothing, medical, and dental care. They also came seeking the answer to life’s struggles. They are offered the answer: life through faith in Jesus Christ.

We are currently scheduled for a program that will start at 3PM and wrap up at 8PM. The day will include a tour of the facility, dinner, an evening service and attending a live recording of the radio program “Unshackled”. For more information on this historical mission visit

Our Annual Church Picnic will be held Saturday, July 16th at the Half Day Forest Peserve. This is the first time since 2004 our Picnic has been off our Church Grounds. This move will allow us more space and creative options for a really interactive and fun time. Please visit the Announcements Page for details on the site.

July’s Youth Meeting will be held on Friday, July 29th. For the first time ever, our Youth Meeting will be held outdoors (weather permitting). We will be solicitng some unique programs and concepts for this gathering. Stay tuned!

Our Annual Church Sleepover will also take place on July 29th into July 30th. There will be fun games and activities at our church that will keep you and your family up into the late hours of the night. Familes will spend the night “camping out” in different parts of the church. Breakfast will be will be served on Saturday Morning.
